The Doctor peered out of the TARDIS, noticing hundreds of different types of aliens that were gathered around the Eiffel Tower. They continued on just like humans would have. He turned back to you with a large smile, "I might have miscalculated a bit. I thought we were in two thousand and six, when I meant to be taking you to one hundred thousand  and sixty four, but we're actually somewhere around . . .seven hundred thousand seventy-seven." He rambled on about what happened in the next few years and why Paris was filled with aliens.
"So, this is what the world will look like in the future?" He nodded, "Yes. Well, this is Earth, but the humans have moved out to a different planet six galaxies away. This isn't even called Earth now!"
"What's it called now, then?" You asked, crossing your arms and leaning on the closed door. "New Pluto. The first aliens to fully move here were from Pluto, hence the name." The Doctor was in the same position as you, but on the other side of the doors. As you turned to look out again, you slightly smiled. "So, we're going?"
"Of course! I mean if you want to. We can always go back and--"
"We're going." You said and grabbed his hand, yanking him out of the TARDIS. He barely got to close the door before you pulled him faster toward the tower. All of the aliens looked so. . .different. A few were green and tall and a few were gray and short; some had tentacles and some had eight hands.
You pulled out your phone, snapping pictures left and right, all while the Doctor was being dragged by you. You were the only person he couldn't keep up with. When you did stop, he had to catch his breath.
"This is fun, Doctor," you said sipping on a thick, blue drink from a cafe. He had gotten tired and luckily, so did you. With a large smile, he agreed and took a sip of his drink. Surprisingly, everything looked the way it would have been if the humans stayed. It was almost as if the aliens just took the spots of the humans.
"Is it like this everywhere?" You questioned, taking another sip of your drink. The Doctor didn't hesitate before answering. "Yes! Everywhere! It's fascinating, isn't it?" You nodded in agreement. Leaning in, you asked more questions. "So you're an alien, correct?"
"Yes, have a problem with that?" He asked jokingly, tapping the table with his fingers. "Not at all. So tell me, what kind of alien are you?"
"I'm a Time Lord," he said confidently and took another sip of his blue drink. You admired the huge grin he always had on his face. "And your box, its your ship-slash-time machine- slash- snog box, yeah?"
"Yes, basically. Wait, no!" He sighed, "How come everyone thinks it's a snog box? It is clearly NOT." You put your hands up in defense, "I'm just joking! Though it would be more exciting that way."  The Doctor almost spit out his drink at the sight of your smirk.
You sat up, deciding that since the 'artificial sun' that The Doctor taught you about was going down, you might as well start going back to the TARDIS. "I'm going back to the TARDIS. Care to join me?" You held out your arm for him, and after recovering, he took it.
The walk back to the TARDIS took around fifteen minutes, allowing you to enjoy the fact that you were in Paris. It also allowed you to notice the fact that they had banned humans from the planet.
"Doctor?" You asked, going by yet another "No Humans" sign. Before the Doctor noticed, an alien in a black suit approached you.
"Identification, sir?" He asked in an almost human voice. The Doctor pulled something out of his jacket, which he called psychic paper, and showed the alien. "Right then, sir. I'm going to need to scan you, sir." The confidence in his voice was almost overwhelming.
The alien pulled out a small, flat circular item and held it in front of The Doctor. "Place your finger there, sir." It said. A small indentation was made in the top to place your finger in. The Doctor did so, and it glowed green. "You are not human." The alien said and turned to you. "Your turn, miss."
He held the object in front of your hands and the Doctor gave you a nudge. Hesitantly, you pressed your finger into the cold indentation. To your surprise, it turned green. "You are not human," the alien said. Both you and the Doctor gave each other scared looks, but didn't say anything until the alien was out of sight.
The Doctor gripped your hand and pulled you quickly to the TARDIS. Once he dragged you in, he pushed many different buttons and pulled levers of all sorts. "We're floating through space and we're not leaving until I find out what you are." His voice didn't seem threatening, rather extremely curious.
"Don't you think that's a bit harsh? I don't even know what I am."
The Doctor pointed a finger at you then ran off down the stairs. Things flew across the room as he searched for something below the console. You could hear him muttering, "No, no, no, no," as he searched. Finally, he pulled something out and sprinted back up.
You sat comfortably in the bench nearest to the stairs. As you looked at the Doctor, he pulled out a stethoscope and put the ends in his ears. "Hold still," he said and put the other cold, hard, end to your chest. First, on the left, then the right. "You've got two heartbeats." He said, the exhaustion finally catching up to him.
"Two heartbeats."
First, I don't have one clue what I was doing with the dates in the first paragraph so just ignore that please. I know its not that detailed, but I don't know what Paris looks like and I suck at writing details. I'll try better now that I can use my laptop more often (yay!) and it'll be easier to type (writing all that on a tablet is a pain in the ass). Please ignore the typos (if there are any). Hope you enjoy! Thanks!
