When The Doctor opened the doors, you couldn't believe your eyes. You were in a large, bright hallway with light grey walls. One wall was glass, showing a large, beautiful star that looked similar to the sun by earth, accept it was a shade of blue-green. As you stepped out, you noticed the hall ended in a few yards, turning into what you assumed to be some sort of viewing area.

You stepped out carefully and the Doctor followed."Where are we?" You asked, keeping your eyes on the star.

"A spaceship in the 29th century, going by a star that will explode in. . ." He glanced at his watch, "About an hour."

"Aren't we too close?" You questioned, but that made him smirk. "There are shields all around the ship. Even if we were in the star when it explodes, we would be fine." He stated matter-of-factly. You nodded and hoped he was right.

"Come on, then!" The Doctor cheered, taking your hand and pulling you down the hall toward the viewing area. You happily went along, but stopped when you saw how big it was. The "viewing area" was actually a very large, full dining area. Different types of aliens sat eating and drinking and talking.

Before you could say something, however,  the whole ship shook violently, throwing you and the Doctor hard against the wall parallel to the window. Pain shot through your side and across your chest. Both you and the Doctor caught sight of a transparent, purple line gliding up along the window.

"Oh no," The Doctor muttered as he quickly got up. "This is bad, very, very bad." He took several steps down the hallway when he noticed he didn't have his companion. "Oi!" He called, but caught sight of your hands on your side. It didn't take long for him to get back to your side.

"Hey," he put a stray piece of hair behind your ear and began examining your injury. "Looks like you've cracked some ribs. Twenty minutes and you'll be good as new!" You didn't ask what he meant because you couldn't. It was too painful, but you could already feel them starting to heal. Assuming you didn't have time to wait to heal, you started to get up.

"You need to rest!"

"Do we have time for that?" You asked sarcastically and tried to ignore the pain. The Doctor glanced around and found a large, metal door in the back of the now trashed room. Most of the aliens had fallen and the tables and chairs were tipped over. You cringed at the sight.

The Doctor took your hand and started down the room, staying near the wall. You stopped to help some aliens up, even though the injury was barely allowing you to. The Doctor admired how you didn't think twice about helping them even if you were in pain.

"Here," you said as you helped a young-looking alien up after pushing a chair off him. Although you didn't know much about aliens, you knew this one was definitely a child. He thanked you and hurried off to find his mother, who he said was just on the other side of the room.

Eventually, the Doctor got to the doors and pulled out his sonic screwdriver to unlock them. The sound of the lock clicking was heard and the Doctor grinned. You went along, following him down a narrow, darker hallway into a large room. It was lit up by various buttons and screens, but people were running about frantically.

A man strode across the room to you and stood a few steps away. "You cannot be in here, sir," he commanded. You could tell he worked security there by the gun that hung loose on his shoulders that was being kept in place by his hands. The Doctor flashed his psychic paper and the guard immediately apologized.

The Doctor quickly made his way to one of the several computer screens in the room. "This is the control room, keeping everything including the shields, well, controlled. Why did the shield go down then?" He questioned and examined the computer with his screwdriver.

"We don't know, sir. That's what we're trying to figure out." The guard answered. You could tell even he was scared. In an hour the star would explode and blow the whole ship to pieces!

"Well, let's see what's happening," The Doctor straightened his bow tie and started typing on the keyboard faster than you've ever seen. After a few moments, he jumped. "Aha! That's it! It's a virus!" He exclaimed.

His outburst seemed to trigger something and all the power in the station went out except for the large screen on the back wall that previously displayed a map of the immediate area. Now, it displayed a timer that was set at 1:00:00

"Well done, Doctor. Now, let's see if you can save the ship and your companion before time runs out," a dark voice said. The Doctor turned around, you were right there, what did he mean--oh no. You disappeared and there was nothing that could have taken you. He was starting to panic. He couldn't lose you, he just couldn't. That would wreck him.

He started to get agitated as he scanned for your life signs or anything that could have taken you near the spot you were standing in. After a while he gave up and turned back to the screen. When did it start counting down?! 55:32 it read.

"Oh, that is definitely not good."
Hey, here's this part for you. Um, there's really nothing else to say. . . Hope you enjoy! ^-^
